Proof of range

The idea decides the material.

Some are finished pieces, some are experiments. Together they show what careful cutting and engraving can do across wood, metal, stone — and the occasional peanut.

The ArcBeam approach

The material is part of the story.

We prefer wood, slate, paper and other tactile materials that already have a life and texture of their own.

Making in small batches means less unnecessary stock, more room to adapt, and closer attention to every piece. Packaging is kept practical, with lower-waste and moulded-pulp options being developed as ArcBeam grows.

  1. 01Purpose before decoration

A piece should feel useful or meaningful before anything is engraved.

  2. 02Small runs, careful choices

Make what is needed, adapt the design, and avoid waste where possible.

  3. 03Honest craft

Natural variation is not hidden; it is what makes each piece its own.

From thought to finished piece

You can begin with a rough idea.

Custom work does not start with a perfect drawing. An occasion, a material, a useful purpose or even a half-formed thought is enough to begin.

  1. 01Share the idea

Tell us what it is for, who it is for and what matters about it.

  2. 02Shape the design

We agree the material, scale, details, timing and price before making.

  3. 03Make with care

The piece is cut, engraved, assembled and checked in a small workshop.

  4. 04Pack and deliver

Packaging is chosen around the piece, with UK delivery arranged clearly.

Independent by nature

Made by curiosity, not a catalogue.

ArcBeam is a small independent workshop in Feltham, built around the question: what else could this material become?

That curiosity moves between useful home pieces, personal keepsakes, packaging experiments and the occasional object engraved simply to learn what is possible. The aim is not to fill shelves with identical stock. It is to make thoughtful pieces worth keeping.

What would you like to make personal?

You do not need a finished design. A rough idea, occasion, material or budget is enough to begin the conversation.
