The idea decides the material.

The ArcBeam approach

The material is part of the story.

We prefer wood, slate, paper and other tactile materials that already have a life and texture of their own.

Making in small batches means less unnecessary stock, more room to adapt, and closer attention to every piece. Packaging is kept practical, with lower-waste and moulded-pulp options being developed as ArcBeam grows.

You can begin with a rough idea.

Custom work does not start with a perfect drawing. An occasion, a material, a useful purpose or even a half-formed thought is enough to begin.

ArcBeam is a small independent workshop in Feltham, built around the question: what else could this material become?

That curiosity moves between useful home pieces, personal keepsakes, packaging experiments and the occasional object engraved simply to learn what is possible. The aim is not to fill shelves with identical stock. It is to make thoughtful pieces worth keeping.
